On October 20, 2024, the Econox Laos team organized a training session for young environmental journalists to collect data in Luangprabang, with support from the Sustainable Consumption and Production (SCP) in Lao PDR, or SCP Lao.

Our Group 02 also visited two places, namely Chan Nuae village (pottery) and Sanctuary Luangprabang Hotel. During this data collection, young journalists had the opportunity to interview the village head and residents of Ban Chan Nuae about their pottery-related lifestyle. In addition, our journalists had a conversation with the staff at Sanctuary Luangprabang Hotel regarding hotel management and the establishment's environmentally friendly practices, positioning it as a green hotel.

In closing, we, together with young journalists, would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to Chan Nuae village (pottery) and Sanctuary Luangprabang Hotel for their warm welcome and cooperation in sharing information. This will help the youth create news and content focused on environmental issues, sustainability, and media integration with current environmental challenges.
