On October 28-29, 2024, the Econox Lao team had the opportunity to participate and set up a booth at the ASEAN Conference on Combating Plastic Pollution 2024, held at the Pearl Tree Hilton Hotel, Vientiane.

The atmosphere was vibrant and full of excitement, with participants from ASEAN Member States, the private sector, innovators, and civil society. They gathered to exchange knowledge, promote strategic discussions, strengthen regional cooperation, and seek new solutions to combat the issue of plastic pollution in the region.

Pioneering the Paradigm Shift to Phase Out of Plastic Pollution.

Behavioral Change to reduce Single-use Plastics in ASEAN.

Additionally, there was a special agenda during the 5th session where our co-founder represented our team in the forum on "Changing Behavior to Reduce the Use of Single-Use Plastics in ASEAN," alongside representatives from ASEAN member countries.

Co-hosted by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MONRE) of Lao PDR, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Lao PDR with support from Norad - Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation, and the ERIA: Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia.
